Dubai kicks off the HSBC World Rugby Sevens 2017/18 season and The Sevens Stadium transforms the main grandstand into a brilliant sporting arena for the Dubai Sevens party.  The other seven pitches will see exciting grass roots action, from over 220 invitation teams taking part.  This is what makes the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens really stand out from the other Sevens venues. You will be able to get up close and personal with ex international rugby players, playing for some of the invitation charity teams. In the past players such as Andy Farrell, Shaun Edwards, Colin Charvis, Brian Lima and the ‘World’s Greatest Sevens player’ Wasaile Serevi, have played for invitation teams on these outside pitches.

Away from the rugby, the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens is one big party, with lots to keep the entire family happy.  There are several food and beverage outlets and a live band to entertain you once the rugby has finished.  The kids are not forgotten though and there is so much to keep them busy, including jugglers, acrobats, bouncy castles, mascots and face painting.  A family zone is set up every year at a separate entrance with 2000 seats in an alcohol free area – the perfect family friendly environment and there is an excellent kids club.
